If I could be related to a river, The Whanganui River in the North Island New Zealand is it - so many spiritually interesting things have happened there and I seem to naturally gravitate toward people from there. In the little village of Jerusalem (Hiruharama in Maori ) stands a Catholic Church with a black skin madonna. The Nuns still maintain the hostel there where you can stay for a few dollars and have a good yarn!
